Modern Art Oxford is one of the UK’s leading galleries for the presentation of modern and contemporary visual art, with an established international reputation. It hosts a programme of temporary exhibitions by artists from all over the world, live events, workshops and educational activities. We run a series of music and arts education programmes that support around a third of the schools in our area.

Students are encouraged to make the most of the opportunities these spaces present. Ten Pieces also collaborates with more than 260Ten Pieces Championsacross the UK, includingMusic Education Hubs, music services,Bridge Organisationsand art organisations. National Youth Music Organisations also support the programmes of National Portfolio Organisations, Music Education Hubs, conservatoires and colleges of music, and many further and higher education bodies. We are a catalyst for arts partnerships and provide platforms for artistic collaboration, creativity and innovation. From the legendary to the undiscovered, The Arts Club keep it fresh and refined, working with musicians and DJs to set a mood members love.

Are you a singer, an actor, a dancer, an instrumentalist?

It is open to all members of the University, and rehearses and performs in the Exeter College Chapel. The Turl Street Arts Festival is one of the highlights of the year at Exeter and sets the experience at Exeter apart from other Colleges. Moreover, both within the College and the wider University there is a huge variety of orchestras, cdoass.com magazines, exhibitions and plays which students can become involved with. Historically, Exeter College has had a lively and productive MAD – Music, Arts and Drama – scene. The College has also taught famous writers in a variety of genres, including Philip Pullman, Will Self, Amy Sackville, JRR Tolkien, and Qian Zhongshu.

The only slight exception is that you can apply for a scholarship in Creative Writing if you study English or you could apply for visual art if you studied Textiles. Our collective of musicians range from students and graduates from London’s leading music conservatoires. Established 39 years ago in the former county town of Radnorshire, the Presteigne Festival has become a focal-point for those seeking musical innovation and artistic discovery amidst the beauty of the Welsh Marches. The best part about making music is making it together and we create opportunities to experience music making with others. Transforming lives by giving children, young people, and adults the lifelong gift of music. The £4.5m Ivy Arts Centre regularly hosts events and is the ideal space for productions with a 200-seat theatre and 50-seat studio space, as well as dance studios and rehearsal rooms.

MAP Charity is an alternative education provider working with young people who are unable to access the mainstream school system.
